Sam is a Legal Recruiter in the London Office of Carlyle Kingswood Global. Sam advises experienced associates, counsel and partners on cross-border career moves across the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore, with a particular focus on two-way relocation mandates, compensation positioning and long-term progression within US, Magic Circle and leading international law firms.

A significant part of Sam’s work involves advising Asian lawyers in the UK on return moves to Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as supporting broader relocation mandates between the UK and Asia.

He helps lawyers understand how their experience is viewed in the market, how compensation and bonus structures compare across US, Magic Circle and other leading international platforms, and how to position themselves for promotion, lateral moves and long-term partnership prospects.

Sam’s approach is advisory-led, with a focus on career progression, practice alignment and relocation considerations. He also draws on relationships across the UK, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore to support cross-border hiring for both law firms and in-house legal teams.
