Sam works across all practice areas, advising on roles from Partner through to Paralegal, and covers both private practice and in-house positions. He works with a broad range of law firms, including leading UK, US, offshore, and local firms, on both retained and contingent assignments.

He has a particular interest in assisting lawyers with Asian connections, ties and long-term ambitions, whether they are based in Asia, the UK, Australia, or the United States.

He works closely with consultants across the firm’s international network to deliver coordinated, market-led advice. Sam is discreet and highly confidential, with a market-insight-driven approach to legal recruitment.

Sam’s work has included comparative analysis of partner and associate headcount across international, local and mainland Chinese law firms in Hong Kong and Singapore, with data reviewed over multiple years.
